New planting beds were carefully formed along the front foundation, both sides of the home, and behind the rear deck. During installation, special attention was given to ensuring each area was properly graded to direct water away from the home's foundation and improve surface drainage.
After the landscape beds were established, we installed a selection of premium ornamental shrubs chosen for year-round structure, color, and low-maintenance performance. To complete the planting areas, fresh premium black dyed hardwood mulch was installed throughout each bed. The mulch provides a clean, finished appearance while helping retain soil moisture, regulate soil temperature, and reduce future weed growth.
In addition to the landscape improvements, our team completed several underground drainage upgrades to help manage roof runoff more effectively. Existing downspouts at the front of the home were connected to underground 4-inch PVC piping and routed away from the foundation to strategically placed popup emitters. One drainage line required installation beneath the existing sidewalk, allowing us to create a concealed drainage system without affecting the home's appearance.
By collecting roof runoff and safely discharging it away from the foundation, the new drainage system helps minimize standing water, reduce erosion, and protect the home's landscaping from excessive moisture.
